Check-out: until 11:00 (11:00 am)
If your departure is later, you are more than welcome to utilize the common areas of our hostel during that day. At Sant Jordi Hostels we also have free luggage storage!
On the day of departure / check-out, guests who are scheduled for departure have until 11:00 am to leave the room. Otherwise, Sant Jordi Hostels reserves the right to charge an additional night at the going rate.

*The reception is open 24 hours in all hostels.

Deposit

A key-card deposit of €10 per person must be paid at the time of check-in. This deposit is required to ensure the successful return of the key cards that provide access to rooms, common areas, and lockers. The deposit will be refunded at the time of check-out under the condition that the key card is successfully returned to the appropriate reception staff. If a key card is lost or stolen or is for any reason not returned in an appropriate manner at the moment of check-out, the €10 deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellations are accepted only by email and must be received by us at least 48 hours before the arrival time (check your arrival time in your reservation). In the case of non-cancellation or late cancellation, the deposit charged to your credit card at the time you made the reservation will not be refunded. Also, in this case, the price of the first night of the reservation will be retained by the hostel as a penalty for not having the correct cancellation notification. No exceptions to this rule are made.

To stay at Sant Jordi Hostels, guests under the age of 18 who are traveling alone will have to present signed permission from their parent or legal guardian, as well as a signed photocopy of the identification documents of the signing parent or guardian.

For the guardianship and comfort of minors and other guests, minors under 16 traveling alone or accompanied by their direct relatives, may not share the bedroom with the other guests. Minors under 16 and their families must book a whole bedroom or a private room just for them.

Likewise, in the case of group reservations for minors, those under 18 cannot share a dormitory with the other guests, and must in any case reserve entire bedrooms for them or private rooms. In the event that the minor customer causes any kind of damage to the installation, the full cost of the repair will be charged.

Sant Jordi Hostels Gracia is a boutique hostel with a young but calm atmosphere, perfect for solo travelers or small groups of friends. However, if you are looking for a young and party hostel or you are a large group, we recommend that you take a look at our Sant Jordi Hostels Sagrada Familia. On the other hand, if you are looking for a central location, we recommend you stay at our Sant Jordi Hostels Rock Palace a few meters from the city center. You will always be welcomed at our Sant Jordi Hostels Gracia, we only wish to offer you the best solution to your expectations and needs.

Taxes and/or tourist tax

The tourist tax is not included in the price of the reservation. A tourist tax of 5,50€ per person per night will apply for the first 7 nights. Persons aged 16 years or less 16, stay due to force majeure or health reasons* and travelers who adhere to programs subsidized by the Public Administration (such as Imserso) are exempt from paying this tourist tax.

* It will be necessary to present a document proving the medical reason.

We believe that mutual respect is vital to the experiences generated in our Sant Jordi Hostels and is essential to provide exceptional service. This is the secret of a healthy environment and a pleasant stay for everyone. Therefore, we inform you that we reserve the right to refuse admission and refuse service and/or request that a guest, in case of inappropriate or unacceptable behavior, leave the establishment at our discretion if necessary, without refund or reimbursement of any kind.

If a hostel guest causes any type of damage to the property, the credit card registered to that guest’s reservation will be charged for the entire cost of repair.

In the event that the guest negligently or intentionally causes damage to any machine or appliance available for guest use and guest enjoyment throughout the duration of his/her stay (ie. Washing machine, dryer, vending machine, hair-dryer, refrigerator, hand-dryer, oven, stove, microwave, television, etc.), the complete cost of repair – parts and labor – or the price of the entire machine, if it is rendered irreparable, will be charged to the clients registered credit card.

We do not assume any responsibility for loss, theft, or damage of guest property.

Unless stated otherwise, we regret to inform you that we cannot, under any circumstances, assume responsibility or pay any compensation in case of not being able to meet our obligations to you or your companions for reasons of “force majeure”. For these purposes, it is considered “force majeure” any event that our company or any other supplier could not, even with all the necessary and due diligence, foresee and/or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riots, civil conflicts, terrorist activities or threats, labor disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, adverse weather conditions, fires, and all similar events beyond our control, without this list being limiting.
