La Cursa El Corte Ingles, Barcelona is one of the largest and most popular 10k runs in Europe. This year’s run is scheduled for Sunday the 7th of April, 2013 at 9:30 am.
La Cursa El Corta Ingles is Barcelona’s most popular run, with almost 60,000 participants in 2012. It attracts people from all walks of life and regularly features famous participants. The 2013 La Cursa Corte Ingles will see Pedro Rodríguez, Jordi Alba, Joan Verdú, Ricky Rubio, Joel González and Anni Espar, who are all signed up and ready to run.
The course itself is an 11 kilometer track through the streets of Barcelona. Starting at Plaza Catalunya, the La Cursa El Corte Ingles 2013 course goes up Passeig de Gracia, across Carrer Arago, past Plaza Espana, around the Olympic park area, through Carrer Floridablanca, up Ronda de Sant Antoni and down Carrer de Pelai to end back at Plaza Catalunya. The course can be run or walked and at a medium pace should take about 2 ½ hours to complete.
