Sant Jordi Hostels Barcelona is celebrating 10 successful years of Barcelona Hostel madness!!!
Just imagine 10 years of Barcelona Hostel experiences. If only the walls could talk or we could gather all the stories of everything that has ever happened at Sant Jordi 
Hostels over the past 10 years and put them together in a book – It would be more like a 10 volume series. What if we could just count all the lives that we have changed, people that we have touched, couples that first met in our hostels or at one of our parties, conversations that have changed opinions, moments that have changed who we are and how we see ourselves in the world. Sant Jordi Hostels in much more than just a hostel. It is a life experience!!! And we believe that more strongly today than ever!
We have enjoyed some ridiculous good-times, we’ve met a lot of great new friends, we’ve thrown countless crazy parties and we’ve seen some pretty unbelievable stuff – I know of at least 2 happily married couples that actually met while staying at our Barcelona Hostels. And I am sure there are even more unbelievable things that happened that we don’t even know about.
To celebrate a full decade of Sant Jordi Hostels Barcelona, we rented a bus and travelled to Gava, just south of Barcelona, where we spent an entire day being wild and crazy and just having a good time. We played all the fun games that you play at summer camp when you’re a kid – Potato Sac Race, Water-balloon war, Tug of War, Balloon Shaving, Egg on a Spoon Race and of course a friendly match of footy. We had Paella and Barbecue for lunch and we went to the beach to chill out, play some volleyball, Frisbee, do some slack-lining, swim a little, drink some beer and just lay out in the sun. What a day!!!
Now we are back at work, thinking of all the good times and good friends that we have made over the past 10 years, remembering the countless unforgettable moments, and a few of the more forgettable ones also. It has been an absolute pleasure sharing these 10-years with all of our guests and staff. Thank you to everyone who has shared in the adventured and helped to make Sant Jordi Hostels Barcelona what it is today! Thank you also to the staff who had to work while we partied it up in Gava!
