They make the most iconic pastel de nata called Pasteis de Belem. You cannot leave Lisbon without going to this historic bakery, which has been keeping the recipe a secret for centuries.

All right! You can’t leave Lisbon with out having one of these codfish cakes. They prepared with codfish, eggs, mashed potatoes and parsley. It’s very tasty! You can find Bolinhos de Bacalhau everywhere in Lisbon, make sure to have it warm and with a cold Sagres beer. It will go down perfectly.

Bifana is a traditional sandwich from Portugal. They are nothing fancy, just a simple but extremely tasty snack. You can find it easily in most of the small restaurants in Lisbon. The perfect snack while you´re exploring. This delicious Portuguese sandwich comes with pork loin rolled strips, served on a soft bun and it’s typically eaten with a tasty mustard.
In Portugal you can find two other famous sandwiches, called Suckling ig and Prego. They are both really good but Bifana is by far our favourite!
