Sagrada Familia multi-media extravaganza:
When: Fri. Sat. Sun. the 21st 22nd and 23rd of September at 21:00, 22:00, 23:00 and 00:00
Where: The Sagrada Familia
A multi-media spectacular from the Moment Factory, this light and music showcase should be an impressive mix of modern high-tech digital lighting and music and an art nouveau tribute to the creative genius of Antoni Gaudi. Cirque Eloize at the Castell de Montjuic:
When: Sat. Sun. Mon. the 22nd 23rd and 24th of September at 13:00 and 18:15
Where: Castell Montjuic
This is a dance based circus performance by a group based in Montreal, Canada. The Cirque Elois gives a dance/circus performance that is a mix between cirque du soleil and a broadway dance production. Set in the stunning Montjuic Castel on the Montjuic mountain overlooking Barcelona this should be a pretty cool performance.

El Foc de la Merce:

Giants and Beasts Parade:
When: Monday, September 24th from 18:00 to 20:30
Where: parade starts at c/ Pelai (c/ Gravina), goes down la Rambla, across c/ Ferran, through pl. Sant Jaume, past Jaume I, up Via Laietana & ending at pl. Ramon Berenguer el Gran
The traditional Giants and Beasts parade of the Barcelona la Merce Festival, “La Cavalcada de la Mercè. Quina animalada de cavalcada!” is a unique cultural event worth checking out. The traditional gegants (giants) will be accompanied by bestiari festiu (festive beasts) in a uniquely catalan parade.

Local Castellers Show (Diada Castellera Amb Les Colles Locals):
When: Monday, September 24th at 12:30
Where: Pl. St. Jaume
The day of the Castellers with the Local Gangs (diada castellera amb les colles locals) is a castellers performance by local casteller groups from Barcelona. Castellers is several hundred year old tradition of building human towers normally seen during festivals throughout throughout Catalunya. This is an old tradition, and impressive act and definitely worth checking out.
