Making the World a More Beautiful Place
The Barcelona graffiti scene is becoming more relevant every year. Locals and tourists alike appreciate one of the coolest elements of the alternative side of the city, the character and beauty added to the city by graffiti artists from around the world.
Sant Jordi Hostels Barcelona had the pleasure of getting to know the Brazilian artist Paula Plim from Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Paula’s artwork is inspired by indigenous art from South and Central America and includes elements from African influences and European folklore.

Paula Plim is a world traveler who has had exhibitions of her artwork in various countries and has joined many international street art meetings. Her vibrant compositions and mysterious characters have become her trademark on the streets of Brazil and around the world.
After taking her first art course in 2002, Paula decided to continue with her art and eventually turned it into a professional lifestyle.
Traveling to Europe for an exhibition of her work at the Andem Gallery in Barcelona and to attend art meetings in Mallorca and Portugal, Paula decided to stay with other like-minded world travelers and artists at Sant Jordi Hostels in Barcelona. She had a great time staying at our Barcelona hostels and ended up leaving an amazing graffiti behind. The stylish Gracia hostel by Sant Jordi Hostels, was the lucky recipient of Paula’s creativity and talent. We took of few pictures and made a short video of Paula in the act of inspired creation. Enjoy!
