What is a “Travel Blogger” anyway?
Has anyone ever heard of a “travel blogger”? We at Sant Jordi Hostels barcelona have and we have actually been lucky enough to meet one… and get a great review from one.
What is a “full time travel blogger“? Is it the next step in the evolution of the human race?
As human beings, we are by nature curious animals; always exploring and searching for new ways to exploit our environment. The travel blogger has discovered the next and possibly final step in human environmental exploitation: and no, not the kind of environmental exploitation that we have come to expect from a pulp mill, oil company, or commercial fisher. A true full time travel blogger has discovered the ultimate life of balance and coexistence. To get to the point, a full time travel blogger has discovered a way to live from and support their love for and life dedicated to world travel through an online platform called a “blog”. They are the pinnacle of experience in the realm of experienced travelers.
Runaway Jane, The Full Time Travel Blogger
Our new friend, Runaway Jane, is a full time travel blogger. For the past couple of years Runaway Jane has been working very hard to make her dream a reality. She is now supporting her life and travels entirely by way of her very cool, and very informative travel blog. Jane travels the world and writes about it. I don’t know about you but I am jealous.
What makes Runaway Jane’s travel blog a lucrative business – ok, not so lucrative but enough to support her travels – is her wealth of experience and her honest, straightforward, valuable advice. Runaway Jane’s travel blog is not an advertisement sight for companies to market their various travel packages and holiday destinations, it is a place for her to share her knowledge and give good solid advice based on her real experiences. To put it simply, Runaway Jane can’t be bought. If she recommends something it is because it is good, not because she was paid.
Runaway Jane’s Review of Sant Jordi Hostels Barcelona’s Sant Jordi Hostel Alberg
Runaway Jane loved Sant Jordi Hostels Barcelona’s Sant Jordi Hostel Alberg: not because we paid her – I promise we didn’t give her anything, not even one Euro… ok she stayed in the hostel for free but she didn’t have to recommend us to do so – but because she actually liked it. As a matter of fact, she loved it! In her own words: “Usually I try to balance these things out with some downsides to staying at a hostel, but to be honest, there is not anything bad I can say about Sant Jordi Alberg. It was a really good hostel.” Check out her wonderful review of our Sant Jordi Hostel Alberg… and while you’re at it check out the rest of her blog, it’s pretty cool.
We miss you Runaway Jane!!! Hope to see you at one of our Barcelona hostels again sometime soon!!!! Have fun traveling the world!!!!
